Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using mealprepforge.com or the MealPrepForge web application (the "Service") operated by MealPrepForge LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into these Terms, and agree to comply with all applicable laws.

2. Description of Service

MealPrepForge provides high-protein recipe browsing with personalized scoring, AI-powered ingredient swap recommendations, meal planning tools, shopping list generation, and nutritional information. The Service is for general meal prep planning and informational purposes only.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain your password security, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@mealprepforge.com.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, or your account is inactive for more than 24 months.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal.

Cancellation

Cancel anytime through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to paid features until the end of the period you paid for.

Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@mealprepforge.com within 14 days of the charge.

Price Changes

We will provide at least 30 days' notice before a price increase takes effect for existing subscribers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe intellectual property rights of MealPrepForge or any third party
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts
• Scrape or extract data from the Service without express written permission
• Use the Service for any unauthorized commercial purpose
• Impersonate any person or entity

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content — including software, design, text, graphics, logos, and AI-generated recommendations — are owned by MealPrepForge LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law.

You own the personal data you submit (your profile, preferences, and meal plans). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

8. AI-Generated Content

MealPrepForge uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to generate ingredient swap recommendations. AI recommendations are automated and may not always be accurate. They are not a substitute for professional nutritional advice. You use AI-generated recommendations at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEALPREPFORGE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY HEALTH-RELATED OUTCOMES OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION OR AI RECOMMENDATIONS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MEALPREPFORGE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $50 IF YOU HAVE MADE NO PAYMENTS).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MealPrepForge LLC from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Before filing any legal claim, contact us at support@mealprepforge.com to resolve the dispute informally. If unresolved, any legal action shall be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Adair County, Missouri.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and emailing registered users at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
